24th April 2012 - present: Member of the board of the National Council of the Italian Hydrotechnique Association.

September 2009 - July 2011: president of the IAHR Education and Professional Development Section (IAHR EPD Section).
September 2009 – September 2015: Editor of IAHR magazine Hydrolink.
Since June 2007 – December 2010: president of the Apulian Section of the Italian Hydrotechnique Association.
