Lorenzo Giasanti (PhD in Labour Science) is Associate professor of Employment and Labour Law at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Department of Law), where he teaches Employment and Labour Law (2nd year) and Labour Law and Industrial relations (5th year). Since December 2008 he had been Assistant Professor of Labour Law at the University of Milan-Bicocca. Since December 2004 he’s lawyer, member of the Bar of Milan. He’s member of the PhD Bicocca University teaching board since 2012 and Coordination Board member of the Rights of the Child Master at Bicocca University since 2014. He’s a member of the Editorial Committee of the Review “Rivista Giuridica del Lavoro e della Previdenza sociale” and of the Evaluation Committee of the Review “Giustiziacivile.com”. His research interests are in the area of European Union Employment Law, Atypical work, Temporary employment contracts, Maritime labour law, Labour market, Freedom of association, Collective bargaining.
